Union Government formed a committee to decide up on new capital for Seemandhra state. UPA coalition government finally formed a five member committee and set a decline of six months to select Seemandhra capital.
Union Home Minister issued notification appointing two special advisors to Governor of two states ESL.Narasimhan. In the committee retired IAS K.Sivarama Krishnan, professor K.Raveendran, professor Jagan Shah, Armoor Ravi, doctor Ratan Rai are present.
Retired IAS Salauddin Ahmad, tried IPS AN.Rai are appointed as the advisors to Governor ESL.Narasimhan.. The committee will also discuss with new Seemandhra government after the Appointed Day in June 2. Home Ministry officials said committee members will visit Hyderabad Inge official GO is released.
Already some ground work is going on over the selection of seemandhra capital. Some cities are shortlisted and the feasibility about them are discussed with regards to their location,connectivity, water resources etc.
