The congress party which is in deep crisis both in andhra pradesh and in the country, is trying to get back in form lately. The party once ruled with glory has lost its charm and now wants to reclaim lost grace. congress central leadership is focusing to strengthen the party in few states at the root level and is looking for capable leaders for it.

In Southern India, congress has ruled the State of andhra pradesh with grace for a long time and is now in a position that nobody wants to utter the name of the party. The grand old party failed to even deposits in the last elections. All this happened due to the bad decision of sonia gandhi, who decided to divide the United andhra pradesh unscientifically and created another telugu state Telangana.

Now after more than seven years of bifurcation of state, the congress is seeking revival and for that the party senior leaders are looking for a suitable leader.  Senior congress leader, Oommen Chandy who is in-charge of andhra pradesh congress Unit is reportedly had a key meeting with regional leaders.

At the meeting, Chandy has reportedly asked the local leaders to suggest the names of leaders who can the handle situation in the State and revive the party status. According to media reports, the leaders have suggested the names of Raghuveera Reddy, KVP Ramachander Rao and kiran kumar Reddy, who was the last chief minister of United Andhra Pradesh.

The majority of leaders are said to be in favour of kiran kumar Reddy, as they expressed confidence in him for getting things back on track for Congress. rahul gandhi will soon hold a meeting with the State leaders.

Whoever the leader maybe, things are not easy in andhra pradesh for the congress party.
