In november, india recommends hosting an in-person meeting of the National Security Advisors (NSA) on afghanistan in Delhi. The meeting has been invited by key parties in the area, including Russia, China, and Pakistan. india has offered two dates for the conference in the national capital: november 10 and 11.

The invitation was issued to Pakistan's National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf at a time when relations between the two nations are at an all-time high. However, insiders say that in order to defuse the looming humanitarian and security problems in afghanistan following the Taliban's takeover, all parties must be involved.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs said on thursday that india will attend the moscow Format conference on afghanistan on october 20.
While india made its first official communication with the Taliban on august 31 in Doha, the moscow Format is presumed to be the first formal engagement between New delhi and the Taliban government following the announcement of an interim Government. After this meeting, India's Foreign Secretary Harsh v Shringla stated that india is eager to offer humanitarian help to Afghanistan. Arindam Bagchi, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of External Affairs, stated that India's policy toward afghanistan is determined by its affinity with the Afghan people.
