Chief minister Stalin, who came in coimbatore from chennai for the function, was greeted enthusiastically by DMK activists. DMK volunteers gathered on both sides of the road from the airport to the Wausau ground to greet the leader enthusiastically. The government Departments' display hall was set up in the festival Hall on their behalf. The chief minister paid a visit to the event and several people welcomed him.

On the ceremonial stage, there were no posters or banners of the chief minister or Ministers. Only the show's specifics were recorded. The AIADMK has MLAs in nine constituencies in Coimbatore. They were given a front-row seat if they participated in the event. They did not, however, attend the occasion. There were no welcome banners on the way from the airport to the VOC Grounds.

DMK party head and cm Stalin has already issued warning to the party members not to keep posters or banners for him as already few people died due to the banners and posters placed across the road and this earlier happened in cm Jayalalitha's period too. So, DMK Head and cm Stalin requested the party people not to waste money and keep billboards or posters for him across the city to welcome him.
