Drugs are damaging to the younger generation and people are leaving the state, he said.
Sidhu is upset about this
This is not the first time that Sidhu is getting upset with Channi. He also raised questions about the appointment of the DGP.
Sidhu's name was not included in the delegation's recent visit to Channi Darshan after the inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor. Even Sidhu was upset about this.
He also questioned his own party's government as to why no charge sheet was filed in connection with the 2015 Kotkapur case. The Punjab-Haryana high court has given a six-month deadline to file charges against the police firing case in Kotkapur.
It is now a day since that deadline has passed. Former DGP Sumedh Singh Saini, the main accused in the case, had questioned the government as to why no special application was filed against him on bail.
