The 'Eenadu' article wrote that the discussion on the formation of new districts in andhra pradesh has started again.

"The issue of new districts has come to the fore once again with the remarks made by chief minister Jaganmohan reddy during a meeting with ycp lok sabha members.

Officials were alerted last year by CMO directives to prepare for the issuance of notifications to enable the formation of new districts.

Revenue officials have temporarily postponed the formation of new districts as no further orders have been received.

On the other hand, the office of the Registrar of india has made it clear that no state in the country will be able to change its geographical boundaries until the census is completed in march this year.

In this context, a meeting with Vaikapa MPs on friday discussed the possibility of funding from the Center with the formation of new districts.

The issue came up for discussion again after jagan stated that steps were being taken in that direction.

In august last year, the government had issued orders to declare each lok sabha constituency as one or 25 districts.

A series of meetings of the state-level committee, sub-committees and district committees set up for the new districts were held in a hurry.

There are currently 13 districts in the state.

The details have been prepared with temporary, interim and permanent plans taking into account the distance from the rest of the constituency centres to the town which will be the district headquarters and other factors.

If the lok sabha seats are standardized to form new districts, they will increase to 25. Due to the large area of the araku constituency, it will be divided into two districts.

Details of public and private colleges, other buildings and major roads were collected to enable the formation of new districts.

The boundaries of the lok sabha constituencies, geographical area, revenue divisions, zones, villages and other details were hastily prepared.

The police department has also done some exercises on police district office buildings, space acquisition, staff allocation and other issues in the newly formed districts.

All of them were then temporarily put aside. However, senior officials said they had not received any official information on the latest remarks made by the CM.
