Minister RB Udayakumar criticized DMK!!!
Former minister RB Udayakumar has criticized the DMK, saying that during the last DMK rule, we built bridges everywhere to make Singara Chennai. In a statement, RB Udayakumar said, “Tamil Nadu has a large water source due to the southwest monsoon and northeast monsoon, with surplus water available to tamil Nadu from the states of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. It will be followed by a full water supply to tamil Nadu during the northeast monsoon in October, November, and December.
During this monsoon season, natural disasters such as heavy rains, hurricanes, and storms occur. Appropriate precautionary measures were taken during the last ADMK (Amma govt.). Various precautionary measures were taken especially during natural calamities like Kajha, Nivar, Burevi, and major floods in chennai under the guidance of Hon'ble former chief minister Edappadi and Hon'ble former chief minister OPS.
Especially in chennai, there are one lakh streets. This comprised approximately 36,000 rainwater catchments. Due to various precautionary measures taken during the ADMK rule, they were reduced to 40 water bodies. Especially in chennai, the flood water was immediately removed by a giant motor to drain the rainwater. Rainwater drainage works were carried out in chennai during the govt. of the late jayalalithaa rule. The government should expedite the remaining tasks at present. Only then there will be a permanent solution to be available.
Also, the roads are muddy due to this North-East monsoon. This northeast monsoon lasts until January. Therefore, road accidents are more common on decaying roads. Therefore, the present government should follow the example set by the ADMK government by taking military action in these flood relief operations and protect the people by acting in the flood relief operations.
