The Union government, led by prime minister Narendra Modi, withdrew 3 Agriculture Acts, which were introduced with a grand scheme, on the first day of the winter session of parliament due to fierce struggle and sacrifice of farmers.

Following this, elections are to be held in several states, following which prime minister Narendra Modi will face another general election in 2024. 

If Modi wins the 2024 Prime Ministerial election, he will have the opportunity to become the prime minister for the 3rd time after jawaharlal nehru and Indira Gandhi.

But this is not going to be easy, because there are 5 key challenges for Modi to win the PM election for the 3rd time.

Ease of Doing Business:

The important challenge before Modi is to largely improve the conditions for foreign and domestic companies to do business in India. 

While the fact that corporate tax in india is lower than in Asia is very favourable for the indian trade market, the country's infrastructure is the biggest obstacle to attracting new investors and companies. 

About 1680 infrastructure projects such as central government highways, railways and power plants are pending. Not only this, many foreign companies already in india are operating under severe trade impact. Many companies like General Motors and ford are leaving India.

Economic goal

The fiscal deficit measure should be reduced to 6.8 per cent of GDP as the Modi-led central government spends heavily during the Corona period. 

At the same time, we need to raise India's tax-to-GDP scale and develop a plan to increase employment. To achieve this goal we need to create a production base capable of generating 1 crore new jobs per year.

Geopolitical problems

 Relations with pakistan have long been strained, and tensions continue along India's borders with the Afghan Taliban. Meanwhile, Chinese logistics on the India-China border have continued to increase. 

The Modi government must take a quick decision by 2024 to resolve border issues and improve friendship with its neighbours, otherwise, the chances of victory are slim.

Climate change

India must announce its decisive decision and goal on climate change, which is threatening the world. The key challenge for prime minister Modi is to resolve the plan so that the resulting trade changes do not affect the country's growing economy.

The vaccine is not yet fully given to the people of Corona vaccine in India. Meanwhile, the new coronavirus Omicron has started spreading in India. 

This has the potential to create a 3rd wave in India. Modi is compelled to solve the vaccine shortage and vaccine sharing problems and provide vaccine protection to all as soon as possible.
