On tuesday, rahul gandhi will go to Sidhu Musewala's village and meet his family. Before this, sachin pilot and bjp leaders Hansraj Hans and Majinder Singh Sirsa have also gone there.

Congress leader rahul gandhi reached his village Moosewala on tuesday to meet Sidhu Musewala's family. After reaching chandigarh airport in the morning, rahul gandhi went straight towards Musa village to go to Musewala's house. Meanwhile, he was accompanied by punjab congress chief amarinder singh Raja Waring, leader of Opposition in the punjab Legislative assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa, former deputy chief minister OP Soni and other senior party leaders. Earlier, former deputy chief minister of rajasthan sachin pilot had gone to his house and met Musewala's father. He expressed grief over the killing of Musewala and demanded strict action against the culprits.

Pilot had said, 'The manner in which Moosewala was killed is very sad. An atmosphere of fear is constantly being created in the state. The state and central governments should investigate this and take strict action. Such incidents are carried out to create fear in the minds of the people.

Meanwhile, bjp leaders Hans raj Hans and Majinder Singh Sirsa also met Musewala's family and expressed grief. Musewala had joined the congress in december last year. He had tried his luck on a congress ticket from Mansa seat in the 2022 punjab assembly elections, but he failed to win the election.

Musewala's parents had met Union home minister amit shah on Saturday. Earlier, punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann had also expressed condolences by meeting the family. Senior congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa had written to chief minister Mann urging him to transfer the Musewala murder investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the National Investigation Agency (NIA) so that his family gets justice at the earliest.

According to the post-mortem report, 19 bullet marks were found on Musewala's body and he died within 15 minutes of the incident.  The punjab Police had formed a Special Investigation Team last week to investigate the matter expeditiously. Sidhu Musewala was shot dead on 29 May by unknown people in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. The incident happened after his security along with 424 others was removed by the punjab government. The fans of the singer are deeply disappointed because of the incident.
