Everything went well. But after nearly a decade of exile from power at the Center, when the congress returned under manmohan Singh's prime ministership - the newspapers of Associated Journals Limited were shut down. It was said that the company is in huge loss. In 2010 Associated Journals Limited had 1057 shareholders which were 5000 at the time of inception. Another major change happened in 2011, the holding of Associated Journals Limited was transferred to a company named Young india Limited.

It is interesting that this company was formed in 2010 at a cost of only five lakh rupees and rahul gandhi was made director. rahul and his mother sonia gandhi had 38-38 per cent shares of the company. The remaining 24 percent shares were in the name of gandhi family's specialties Motilal Vora, oscar Fernandez, journalist suman Dubey, and sam Pitroda. congress describes Young india Limited as a not-for-profit company.

The matter came into the limelight when bjp leader Subramanian Swamy lodged a complaint in the matter in 2012. He alleged that the assets of Associated Journals Limited were acquired very cleverly by forming Young india Company, which is illegal. He claimed that this property is about 2000 crores. The congress was also accused of giving a loan of 90 crores to Associated Journals Limited. Anti-Congress leaders allege that there were attempts to misappropriate the property illegally. Since the matter is under investigation. But the question is big that when no one person had any right on the property of a company. Then how did she go to the gandhi family and their selected close friends.

It is no less interesting that when Nehru, Indira, Rajiv, sonia, priyanka and rahul have never been seen doing big jobs or business, then how do they have hugely valuable assets in their names today?

Newspapers, which were closed only a few years ago, have resumed publication. The editors and journalists dedicated to the congress ideology are running the newspapers.
