Russia has not gained anything by invading Ukraine. russia is definitely taking the displeasure of the western countries. The people of russia are also not happy with the decisions of Vladimir Putin. A spokesman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the partial deployment of troops to russia a great tragedy for the Russian people.
Sergei Nikoforov has said that soldiers sent to the front lines in ukraine will face the same situation as the Russian soldiers who were driven away during the attack in Kyiv.

Who are the Reservists?
Russian officials said a partial deployment of 300,000 reservists was planned. Reservist is a person who is a member of 'Military Reserve Force'. It is a common citizen but it can be deployed anywhere if needed.
Russian Defense minister Sergei Shoigu has said only those with relevant combat capability and service experience will be deployed. He said that about 2.5 crore people fit this criterion but of these, about one per cent would be deployed.
Why are Russian citizens angry with Putin?
A section of Russian citizens is extremely angry with Vladimir Putin. More than 5,000 Russian soldiers have been killed because of his decisions. Their soldiers are also being killed in the areas which russia has retained. Due to the death of loved ones in this unprovoked war, the Russian people are not supporting Putin's decisions.
