PM Modi's 'peace talks' to end the conflict with Russia!!!


On Tuesday, prime minister Narendra Modi spoke by phone with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky. During this, PM Modi asked Zelensky to end the ongoing war with Russia-Ukraine at the earliest. PM Modi said that there can be no military solution to any conflict. Both countries should end the enmity and proceed through the path of diplomacy on the basis of dialogue.


PM Modi said that india is ready to give full cooperation in every effort for peace. In a telephonic conversation with Zelensky, the prime minister also reiterated the importance of respecting the United Nations Charter, international law and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries. He also emphasized that india attaches importance to the security of nuclear installations of other countries including Ukraine.

PM Modi met Putin

Earlier, PM Modi had met Russian President Vladimir Putin at the SCO Summit in Uzbekistan. The prime minister told Putin that after ending this war, we should move forward on the path of peace. 

Russia merged 4 regions of Ukraine

Significantly, the war between russia and ukraine has been going on for the last 7 months. There has been a huge loss between the two, but till now it does not seem to be resolved. On Tuesday, the Russian parliament approved treaties related to the merger of 4 regions of Ukraine.

The city council of Kyiv in ukraine says it is preparing a rescue centre where potassium iodine tablets will be available to counter the threat of a nuclear attack on the capital. A potassium iodine tablet taken before or immediately after exposure to nuclear radiation can help prevent the absorption of harmful radiation by the thyroid gland.
