Air India service between Delhi and Vijayawada
Vijayawada turned to important visiting place after Tullur is announced as Capital of Andhra Pradesh. AP Government has planned to move many departments to the Vijayawada visit of political leaders and officers has inevitable to the city. It is true the occupancy rate of hotels in the city increased to 80% after the announcement of the capital. Even Chief Minister CBN has regularly conducted review meetings in the city.
Now for the first time Air India starts its service to New Delhi from Vijayawada. The new service will start from Thursday (Pongal). AI 459 starts in Delhi from 6.20 in the morning will land at 8.25 in Gannavaram. The same flight returned on 9 in the morning and will reach 11.05 in Delhi. The new service reached Delhi via Hyderabad from Vijayawada.
AAI officials said that new service from Vijayawada and Delhi will acts as connecting service to the travelers who wants to visit foreign countries like Bangkok, Frankfurt, London, Sydney and Paris. Private airlines Indigo also interested to start its services from Vijayawada. AP Government took necessary steps to extend the Gannavaram Airport to facilitate of landing international flights in Gannavaram.
