hyderabad sources reported that a seven and a half year old boy died at a private hospital in Punjagutta, hyderabad due to doctor's negligence, while undergoing treatment for dengue. Meanwhile parents of the boy lodged a medical negligence complaint against Pragna Hospital management staff.

Accordingly the deceased has been identified as M. Vignesh son of M. Radha who hails from Yousufguda of hyderabad, the boy was suffering from high fever and was rushed to Pragna Hospitals In Banjara Hills on September 7. Furthermore after examining his health condition, the doctors admitted him to the hospital. Hence after performing blood tests on the boy, the doctors confirmed that he is suffering from dengue and the health condition of the boy got worse and doctors shifted him to ICU and put him on a ventilator as he was unable to breathe.



Moreover the boy's mother alleged that the nurses were busy watching videos and didn't take care of her son in the ICU. Vignesh had vomiting and the doctors, nurses didn't attend to the boy. Earlier on Thursday at about 8.30 pm, doctors declared Vignesh dead. Apparently the boy's mother filed a case against Pragna Hospital management at the Panjagutta police station, police have started their inquiry into the case.
