The Boston Consulting Group is likely to give its report to the andhra pradesh chief minister on Friday. The members of the Boston Group have already approached the chief minister's office for an appointment with chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The High Power Committee appointed by the government will study both the reports and prepare a detailed report which will be tabled in the Assembly.

Once the Boston Group gives its report, the cabinet is scheduled to discuss it on january 8 at its regular meeting and forward the same to the high-level committee headed by finance minister Buggana Rajendhranath for further study. Sources say that both the reports are likely to recommend shifting of the capital out of Amaravati.

The commendations are likely to be given to the cabinet in the third week of January. The State government is planning to convene a special session of the assembly in the last week of january or the first week of february to discuss the reports and make a decision. If everything goes as per the plan, the shifting of the capital will begin from the first week of February.
