In what can be termed as a shock to the Ruling party (YSR Congress) in andhra pradesh, The cbi court in Nampally said No exemption any more from personal appearance for andhra pradesh chief minister, YS Jagan mohan reddy in the disproportionate assets cases. Jagan is the Accused no-1 (A1), which means he will have to appear every friday, starting january 10th.

After becoming the chief minister, Jagan did not even attend a single court appearance after coming to Power. The chief minister filed a petition asking him to exempt from the court appearances stating that each of his appearances would burden the state by 65 Lakhs. The court turned down the petition. Jagan is filing an exemption petition every friday and all is well until now but the court became serious.

Unless he gets an exemption from a higher court, january 10th will be the first court appearance of Jagan after becoming the Chief Minister. The court also clarified that there is no relation between the crime and the status of the accused. Jagan did not get the exemption when he undertook the 3500+ Kilometers Padayatra
