andhra pradesh Legislative assembly will sit on january 20th to discuss the recommendations of the GN Rao committee and Boston committee along with the suggestions from the Sivaramakrishnan Committee report over three capital proposals and decentralization of power in Andhra Pradesh. Before this special meeting, the andhra pradesh cabinet meeting is scheduled to be held on january 18th.

 

After the special meeting on january 20th, the assembly may ratify the final decision on Andhra Pradesh’s capital. andhra pradesh chief minister YS Jagan mohan reddy to discuss the decentralization of development in the state, including the three capital proposals with all the key leaders in this assembly session.

 

On the other side, the stir of amaravati farmers against the trifurcation of the capital has reached the Twenty-fifth day. The State government has stopped taking the movement lightly and is dealing with the agitation with an iron fist. The High Power Committee appointed by the State government to look into the GN Rao Committee Report and BCG Report will have its third meeting on the 13th of this month. The committee meeting will hold the key in deciding the future of Amaravati.
