They have narrated the minister about various problems being faced by the industry due to the Lockdown. They brought to his notice that 14,000 film workers lost their livelihood. There are speculations that the central government may give some relaxations to the industry, and in order to take the credit before the State Governments, kishan reddy arranged this sudden meeting. The central government is likely to issue strict guidelines that should be followed during the shoots. However, the re-opening of theaters is likely to take a while. Probably in August.
According to the Ministry of health and Family Welfare (this morning bulletin), the total number of cases in the country are 1,25,101. The cases are on a rise ever since the relaxations are given to the Lockdown in the fourth phase.
