There is a serious expectation that there will be a cabinet rejig in rajasthan in the upcoming week. The cpi (M) is reportedly intending to reshuffle the cabinet of ministers and party administrators in rajasthan to limit the intensification of tautness in the party.
With punjab achieved and dusted, the leaders of the congress party have moved the focus on rajasthan where the supremacy tussle between chief minister Ashok Gehlot and previous state unit chief sachin pilot suppurating for more than three years is yet to be settled.
Sachin Pilot, the youthful leader, abruptly hoisted the banner in July last year due to a lack of proper acknowledgment. He had the comfort of 18 MLAs. As in Madhya Pradesh, Jyotiraditya Cynthia missed the power and the congress too lost its power as she moved out of the party. To forestall such a circumstance from happening, discussions were held with Sachin pilot.
The party intends to extend its cabinet and reshuffle its committee to deal with agitators. The general secretaries of rajasthan, AICC & the current secretary, are assumed to meet chief minister Ashok Gehlot to present the final suggestions for the cabinet rejig. The young leader sachin pilot had met both leaders during his delhi visit a few days ago and insisted for the process to be hurried.
