In a massive blow for bollywood star sonu sood, the Income Tax Department ‘surveyed' his mumbai offices and houses in the suburbs on wednesday (September 15).

According to sources, the Income Tax Department is investigating a land sale between a Sonu Sood-owned firm and a Lucknow-based real estate firm after a tax fraud charge was filed. The I-T'survey' at Sonu Sood's premises began in the morning and lasted until at least 7 p.m. According to sources, the IT department has yet to make any seizures in the case.

After Sonu Sood's recent meeting with delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, who named him the brand ambassador for his government's mentorship programme for school kids in delhi, the I-T'survey' was launched. Later, however, sonu sood emphasised that he will not be joining the AAP.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of delhi, stated that the actor has the prayers of all those families who have benefited from his assistance during difficult times. He went on to say that the road to truth is paved with millions of obstacles, but the truth always triumphs. Thousands of indian families have prayed for Sonu Sood's help through difficult times.
Sonu Sood has received backing from several prominent AAP leaders.
