Prime minister Narendra Modi speech is much anticipated by many on the topic to be spoken in the  UNGA. PM Modi left for New York on friday evening after two days of continuous meetings. He is expected to speak at the United Nations General Assembly's 76th session. The subject of this year's General Debate is  'Building Resilience  through Hope to  Recover from Covid-19,  Rebuild Sustainably,  Respond to the Needs of the Planet,  Respect People's Rights,  and Revitalize  the UN.'

On saturday evening,  Prime minister Narendra Modi will address the United Nations General assembly (UNGA)  in New York. His address will be live-streamed on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube beginning at 7:30 p.m.  (IST). The UNGA sessions will begin at 6.30 p.m.  IST in the UN General assembly hall for the uninitiated.

On Wednesday,  prime minister Narendra Modi landed in Washington for a three-day visit, his first outside of india since the Covid-19 epidemic. Here,  prime minister Narendra Modi met with Vice President Kamala harris and US President Joe Biden for bilateral talks. He also met with Scott Morrison,  Australia's prime minister,  and Yoshihide Suga,  Japan's prime minister. PM Modi also attended the  first Quad meeting in person after Covid-19  and also met with the top company  CEOs from the US.
