Captain amarinder singh, the former chief minister of punjab, is expected to arrive in the national capital on tuesday evening, only days after resigning amid political upheaval in the Congress-ruled state. Following his arrival, the punjab congress veteran is likely to meet with Union home minister amit shah and bjp national president jp nadda in a series of talks.

The anticipated meeting between Singh and Shah has sparked strong speculation that the punjab congress leader may join the bjp in the near future. Captain amarinder singh may be admitted into prime minister Narendra Modi's Council of Ministers as Union Agriculture minister, according to Zee media sources.

The BJP's central leadership may potentially assist Captain amarinder singh in forming a new political party if he refuses to join the BJP. Singh would be convinced to join the BJP-led nda alliance in this manner. However, there has been no official confirmation, and these are simply rumoured at this time.

Many prominent bjp and nda figures, including Anil Vij and ramdas athawale of the RPI, have encouraged Singh to join the bjp or the saffron party-led coalition. haryana minister Vij had previously stated that "not only amarinder singh, but all nationalist forces in punjab should join hands "to destroy the Congress's gameplan."

"I will talk with my followers and decide the next course of action," Captain Singh stated in response to a query regarding his joining the BJP. Singh also stated that he remained a member of the congress party.
