Hindutva is currently under threat from those who seek to rule through Hindutva. Uddhav  thackeray, the chief minister of maharashtra, has slammed the bjp, claiming it has become as addicted to power as heroin addicts. On the occasion of Vijayadasami, shiv sena chief and maharashtra chief minister uddhav thackeray spoke to volunteers in mumbai yesterday. Speaking at the event, uddhav thackeray said,

"Outsiders did not pose a threat to Hindutva doctrine. However, people who claim to be Hindus are now posing a threat by utilising Hindutva as a stepping stone to power. Those people are founded on the british system of secession and rule. We must defend Hindutva against those who take on such a form. Hindus and maratha people must work together. After severing ties with the bjp, the bjp has set its sights on maharashtra and the Shiv Sena.

The fact that mumbai is dominated by police mafias is humiliating. If you're a fan of UP. Can you tell me what state you're in? All of our predecessors, according to the RSS head, are one. So, did the opposition's forefathers, the peasants' ancestors, arrive from another planet? Fighting for power is unhealthy; it's similar to being hooked to drugs and power. Addicts wreak havoc on themselves and their families. You and your family will be destroyed by your addiction to power."
