"I am if you will allow me to say so, a full-time and hands-on congress President," sonia gandhi said during her opening remarks at the congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting held at the All india congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in New Delhi.


Sibal criticised the congress high command last month when political instability in the punjab congress spilt into the open, saying G23 leaders' grouping is "not a Jee huzur 23." "During the presentation, there is no president in our party," the senior politician stated at a press conference. As a result, we have no idea who is making these judgments. We both know and don't know.”
"I've always liked frankness; there's no need to communicate to me through the media; let us have an honest dialogue," she continued. "We have numerous obstacles," gandhi remarked, "but if we remain unified and focus solely on the interests of our party, we will do well."

The meeting comes weeks after Gulam Nabi Azad, a G-23 member, wrote sonia gandhi a letter requesting an urgent CWC meeting.
