Pazha Nedumaran, the leader of the tamil National Front, has called on the indian Navy to react against the Sri Lankan Navy for advancing on the gulf of Mannar. This is something I strongly oppose. Just like indian forces must respond against foreign forces intruding on India's frontiers, the indian navy must come in to retaliate against the invading Sri Lankan navy in the gulf of Mannar.

The Sri Lankan government should seek fair compensation for tamil Nadu fishermen who are still being harmed."
