Tomorrow, under the chairmanship of chief minister Stalin, a consultation meeting on additional curfew relaxation would be convened. To combat the spread of corona, a curfew has been implemented in tamil Nadu, with numerous exceptions. The curfew will remain in effect until the end of the month. For grades 1 through 8, schools will open on november 1st.

Following this, chief minister Stalin will meet tomorrow to discuss additional concessions. The meeting will take place at the General secretariat tomorrow at 11.30 a.m., with the Chief Secretary, Medical Officers, Secretaries of other departments, and senior officials in attendance.

With Deepavali falling on november 4, there is strong demand that schools postpone their reopening. However, Educational minister Anbil Magesh confirmed that there won't be further delay in schools reopening for the lower standards and things will happen as planned. The tamil Nadu government is expected to make a firm decision regarding this festival period and more relaxations are expected as diwali festival also comes on 4th November.
