Tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin on october 22 launched two e-Progress and Information technology Friendly websites developed on behalf of the Department of Information technology at the General Secretariat, as well as two tamil software, the Lower-Tamil Keyboard and the Tamil-Tamil Internet Converter.

A high-level committee headed by the Chief Secretary to the government of tamil Nadu is continuously monitoring 200 major infrastructure projects worth about Rs 1 lakh crore. The e-Progress website (https://emunnetram.tn.gov.in/) has been developed by the tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency to review and monitor the developments of these projects.

It contains details of each project, such as contract date, start date, venue, financial status, project development on a monthly basis, the definition of financial position, the serial photograph of work progress, etc.

In addition, it can monitor the activities of key government departments. Department Head Offices are designed to keep abreast of developments from time to time and to report crisis issues and reasons for delays if any.

Exports of IT and IT services from tamil Nadu are growing at a rate of 10 per cent per annum. This is likely to increase further.

The IT Friendly Website, developed by the tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency, serves as a forum for information technology industries and helps all technology-based groups in the state to work together directly to develop policies and contribute.

Through this site, sign-in groups can easily view all policies, regulations and contracts issued by the Department of Information Technology.

In addition, the facility to post their comments on key issues and current policies, as well as appropriate solutions, will help them obtain information via email.

This will allow them to track the groups' policies, project outlines, and plans for rapid growth. Also, it is easy and transparent so it will greatly help to increase the business.
