An incident took place on october 26 during a massive protest in bangladesh called 'Prativad Rally' against the violence against Hindu families.

The rally, which was attended by about ten thousand people, was attended by the vishwa Hindu Parishad as well as some Hindu organizations and local groups.

Minority Muslims in the area say the rally first went peacefully and then turned violent.

Why indian Muslims were targeted while rallying against the violence in Bangladesh?

No one is against indian Muslims. They are citizens of our country. They have as many rights as we have, a citizen's statement.

However, traces of the demolition that day can still be seen in the mosque.

Muslims are a minority in Tripura. The Hindu population here is 83 per cent. These include Hindus from Bangladesh.

The attacks on Muslims in Tripura are widely regarded as the response of Hindus from Bangladesh. It is feared that if anything happens again in bangladesh, the effect will be felt in Tripura again.

Protesters also set fire to five shops. However, local officials said only two shops were damaged during the protest rally.

There was damage to five stores there at the time.

The shops of 5 Muslim men were completely and partially burnt down.

First, the shop was destroyed and looted and then it was set on fire. The shop burnt to ashes and there is also a burnt fridge inside.

According to eyewitnesses, the district authorities had already deployed seven to eight policemen to prevent any untoward incidents in the area.

But those actions were not enough to deter the crowd.
