Tamilnadu govt says jayalalitha treatment details should be probed: Details of treatment should be investigated in the public interest; government of tamil Nadu informs in Apollo case against the Commission

The tamil Nadu government has said in the supreme court that the new government wants to inquire into the death of former chief minister Jayalalithaa seriously and sincerely, in response to a petition filed by the Apollo Hospital seeking an injunction against the Arumugasami Commission of Inquiry into Jayalalithaa's death.

Also, former tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa, who died after 75 days of treatment at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, is undoubtedly one of the highest-ranking leaders.

Supreme court Judges Senior advocate Dushyant Dwivedi, who appeared before the bench comprising Abdul Nasir and krishna Murari, said the new government wanted to investigate Jayalalithaa's death seriously and sincerely.

The Kodanad estate had been looted, a guard was killed in the incident, a woman and daughter were killed, third-person managing the estate system died. All of this shows the seriousness of her death.

The truth must be established for the people. The state police are investigating cases related to rumours and allegations. It was argued that a high-powered commission of inquiry should be set up to investigate the facts and create an independent and fair environment for the parties concerned to publish their statements.

The Apollo administration, which has been involved in the investigation for a year, now claims the investigation is discriminatory.

After examining the purpose of Jayalalithaa's treatment and her records, the Commission acted effectively within its jurisdiction. The Commission may examine whether the treatment given to her is better. The manner of death and death is important. The nature of the treatment should be examined to see if it is adequate.

Aryama Sundaram, a senior advocate for the hospital, argued that the hospital's reputation had been "tarnished overnight" by the commission.

Aryama Sundaram argued that the commission would even ask for the medical reports of former chief minister MGR, who was admitted to a hospital in Brooklyn, USA, 37 years before he was transferred.

The Commission's proceedings were suspended by the supreme court in april 2019, following a petition by Apollo Hospital alleging that the Commission's activity was discriminatory.
