Noida international airport first phase works at a cost of Rs.8914 crore

New Delhi: The first phase of work on the international airport in noida, Uttar Pradesh, will be completed at a cost of Rs 8,914 crore, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

It has been decided to set up an international airport at a cost of Rs 29,5600 crore on 1,300 acres in Jeevar, noida, Uttar Pradesh, on par with the delhi Indira gandhi international Airport. prime minister Modi today lays the foundation stone for the airport.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the first phase of work at the noida international airport is scheduled to cost Rs 8,914 crore. 

The Uttar Pradesh government's share is 4,326 crore rupees. With the completion of the first phase, the airport is expected to open in september 2024.

By then, the airport will be capable of serving about 1.2 crore users a year. It will be capable of serving more than seven crore passengers once the four-phase works are completed. 

The airport will provide employment to one lakh people. Once operational, the airport will be the only state in Uttar Pradesh to have five international airports, the report said.
