India moving to a 'crisis' says PM Modi

On the occasion of Constitution Day, prime minister of india Modi during his address in the parliament said that india is moving towards crisis because of its family-based parties. Instead of paying homage to the house, it is moving towards crisis. This was intended by Modi due to the absence of the opposition party in the event. This event was also attended by ram Nath Kovind, President of india, venkaiah naidu, Vice President, and Om Birla, lok sabha Speaker.

PM Modi paid his tributes to B.R. Ambedkar, the Constitution framer and he also paid homage to the lost lives on the november 26th mumbai attack. It marks the 13th anniversary of the terrorist mumbai attack.

While addressing, PM Modi said that our constitution is a great tradition and not just a collection of many. For those who believe in democracy, this is a matter of concern where india is moving towards a crisis. He took a dig at the opposition party by referring to family-based parties.

He also added that the problems will arise when the same family members rule a party. Those who lost their democratic character cannot protect the democracy of India. Around 14 parties had stayed away from the function. PM Modi ended his speech that the constitution day celebration is for all indians and not for any separate parties.
