Why are we delaying in banning international flights?: Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal had urged prime minister Modi on sunday to ban the flights coming to india from other countries affected by the covid-19 new variant. He questioned the PM about the delay in stopping flights coming from countries affected by the omicron variant which has more mutations and different protein spikes. Many countries had already started to ban the flights as an immediate measure against the new variant.
 During the first wave of covid infection, all the flights had been banned. Most of the flights reach delhi only making it severely affected. He asked the PM to immediately stop the flights coming to india for safety measures.
                                  For the past one and half years, india is fighting against the covid-19 virus. With immense hard work from the health department and also millions of services from covid-19 warriors only india has recovered. india should take all possible efforts in preventing the new variant inside India. Many countries like Europe, had already banned flights from the affected regions. Any delay in this case from india will prove in resulting harmful situations if any new variant affected person enters India. The WHO also issues a warning that the new variant is a high risk for the whole global world.
