tdp national secretary nara lokesh stated on friday that party chief N chandrababu naidu has decided not to distribute tickets to individuals who have lost three elections in a row in the past. lokesh further stated that he had proposed a two-plus-one formula for determining party positions. Within the party, there was a discussion about this. Anyone who has held the same position for two terms in a row should be assigned to an upper level position, a lower level one, or none, but not the same position for a third time.

Lokesh said he had asked the party chief to apply the new suggestion to him (Lokesh) as well during a chit-chat with the reporters at the Mahanadu venue in Ongole. Such recommendations would aid in the infusion of new blood into the party at all levels. Everyone would have an equal chance to serve the party and the people. The tdp, according to lokesh, will provide 40% of tickets to the youth. Aside from the political heirs, persons without a prior political background would also be given an opportunity.

"The youth would include more than just the heirs of leaders. "All those who would work hard to strengthen the party" would be included, he said. If the party leadership ordered it, lokesh stated he was willing to go on a padayatra or participate in any agitation. The tdp was always prepared for elections. Any discussion about alliances should take place during the election season, he continued.
