Reddy said that RGV had made disparaging remarks about the prominent female politician and former governor of jharkhand in social media posts. The bjp leader provided the police with the post and the complaint as proof. He urged that RGV receive harsh punishment and that the police open an investigation into any violations of the SC/ST Atrocities Act. The police stated that required measures would be taken following the receipt of legal counsel.
