The bharatiya janata party (BJP) is turning its attention to telangana in order to prepare for the elections that are scheduled for next year now that the assembly elections in gujarat have concluded. The saffron party intends to utilise the services of its top leadership as part of its preparations to improve the chances in the state. On december 16, bjp National President J.P. Nadda travelled to telangana to deliver a speech at a public gathering commemorating the conclusion of the fifth stage of bjp State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar's "Praja Sangram Yatra."

Nadda will speak at a meeting in Bandi Sanjay's lok sabha district of Karimnagar. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into the delhi liquor policy scam includes telangana rashtra samithi (TRS) legislator and chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao's daughter, K. Kavitha, and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has also served her with a notice in connection with the same case. It appears that the bjp is preparing to intensify its attack on trs on its home turf. Political analysts claim that the central government's recent searches of telangana ministers, lawmakers, and other leaders in various instances have alarmed the trs and that the bjp may try to exploit the issue for political gain.

Nadda had previously called the kcr government the most corrupt in the nation during his statements at open forums. The most recent events are likely to provide the bjp leaders more justification to criticise the TRS. Despite the fact that the BJP's strategy to win the by-election for the Munugode assembly seat was unsuccessful, the party's leaders believe that the investigation by various agencies into the leaders of the ruling party's leaders' acts of omission and commission will help them focus their attacks on the party in the lead-up to the assembly elections.
