Veerashaiva Mahasabha President Shamanur Sivashankarappa presented eight resolutions. Among the eight resolutions was the resolution that all Lingayats should write Veerashaiva in the religion column.


8 Resolutions are as follows.


  • This conference reiterates that the Mahasabha and our society are always committed to the protection of the integrity, unity, integrity and security of the country and will encourage and support any such struggle and efforts as in the past.


  • The great humanist, pioneer of social revolution, Jagajyoti Basaveshwara's thought and experience is timeless and the universality of the world's problems is supreme. In this context, Mahadhiveshana demands that the government should officially declare Vishwaguru Basavanna as the cultural leader of the state.


  • Millions of Veerashaiva-Lingayat community are socially, educationally and economically very backward. Therefore, this Mahadhivesan demands that the State government should recommend to the government of india to include Veerashaiva-Lingayats in the hot list and the central government should accept this recommendation.


  • The caste census which is the subject of the present debate is almost 8 years old and its contents were leaked before it was officially adopted. In this regard, without accepting the report of the Kantaraju Commission, the government unanimously demands that a caste census should be carried out scientifically based on reality and backwardness of social, educational and economic status, including all sub-sects of the Veerashaiva Lingayat community.


  • Members of our society should not write the names of Hindus and their sub-castes during the census to be conducted by the government in the coming days. This Mahadhiveshana has decided to request that Veerashaiva or Lingayat be written in the religion column.


  • This Mahadheveshan urges the government to formulate and implement all irrigation schemes in the state to benefit all farmers.


  • First CMS Nijalingappa from our community is the pride of our community. Nijalingappa's residence in Chitradurga should be bought by the government and a memorial should be built. Mahadiveshana demands that it be completed by august 8, 2024, the holy day of remembrance.


  • The Mahasabha resolves to express its gratitude to all those who contributed to the 24th Mahasabha session.
