Statement of RSS chief Mohan said, 'I request PM Modi to...'

Congress mp Digvijay Singh's reaction has come to the fore on the statement of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. The congress mp said that he requests Mohan Bhagwat to also give knowledge to PM narendra Modi. Referring to Manipur, Mohan Bhagwat had said that there is no peace there even for a year, the situation needs to be considered on priority. Along with this, on the lok sabha election results, he had said that there is a need to rise above the election rhetoric and focus on the problems facing the nation.

Digvijay Singh said, "He (PM Modi) has not gone there yet." On the question of the new government, he said, "The country knows his (Nitish Kumar) temperament." On the other hand, on the  of prime minister narendra Modi, he said, "Modi family has been formed. All the corrupt people have become a part of that family."

What did Mohan Bhagwat say?

At a Sangh event in nagpur on monday (10 June), Mohan Bhagwat said that conflict in society is not good. He stressed that there is a lot of diversity in india and there should be unity in society. He said, "Manipur has been waiting for peace to be established for the last one year. Ten years ago there was peace in Manipur. It seemed that the gun culture had ended there, but suddenly violence has increased in the state." Bhagwat said, "The situation in Manipur has to be considered on priority. There is a need to focus on the problems facing the nation by rising above election rhetoric." The RSS chief said that the unrest either flared up or was instigated, but Manipur is burning and people are facing its heat. Violence had flared up in Manipur last year Violence had erupted between the Meitei and Kuki communities in Manipur in May last year. Since then, about 200 people have been killed, while thousands have been displaced after large-scale arson. Houses and government buildings have been burnt to ashes in this arson.
