The court issued notice to the Broadcasting Authority, Central Board of Film Certification and yash Raj Films, OTT Netflix, the makers of the film 'Maharaj' and on this the high court has banned the OTT and media broadcast release till 18/6.'

The matter can go to the supreme Court

It is clear from the order of the gujarat high court that the film will not be released till june 18. Apart from this, it has also been said in the report that this matter can also go to the supreme Court. In such a situation, no new release date of the film has been revealed yet.

Allegation of hurting Hindu religious sentiments

The controversy about the film has started since the poster of 'Maharaj' came out. In fact, VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi has accused the film of hurting Hindu religious sentiments and has demanded to ban it.
