It is known that KCR’s plans for getting extra water from the
Krishna river basin has actually received a huge setback with the centre
filing an affidavit in the Supreme Court over the water sharing
formula.
This involves four states, AP,
Telangana. Karnataka and Maharashtra wherein water sharing cannot
reworked again. The centre has revealed that only AP and Telangana
al location needs to be reworked.
KCR had wanted
the entire mechanism to be re calculated based on Telangana becoming a
new state which henceforth entitles more share for Telangana. United AP
also opposed Brajesh Tribunal allocation, demanding more water.
When
it comes to Andhra, KCR shows a visceral hatred but when it involves
Karnataka or Maharashtra, his ministers show some unusual kinship and
bonhomie which amounts to over action. Now their MP’s have cleverly
pressurized Centre to act against Telangana!
