BJP Spokesperson of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Raghuram Purighalla had made a sensational statement. He announced that at least 13 MLAs of TDP are ready to join the party and Five to Six MLAs are directly in touch with BJP Central Leadership. He also added that Chandrababu Naidu will go to jail very soon. Several close aides and family members of Naidu are also involved in corruption, he alleged.
TDP is confined to just 23 seats of the 175 seats Assembly and the Cycle Party also managed just three out of the total 24 Parliament Seats in the State. This is the party's worst-ever defeats. With Chandrababu getting old and lokesh seems to be not capable of leading the party, TDP is on the verge of collapse.
Sunil Deodhar who was the main architect of BJP's historic win in the Assembly elections of Tripura is assigned the Task of improving BJP in Andhra Pradesh. He is instructed to destroy TDP first and then occupy the Opposition space. BJP is keen on becoming a significant force in Andhra Pradesh Politics by the time of 2024 elections.
