It is known to our readers that A  criminal case has been registered against senior TDP leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari and another activist named Satyavani, for allegedly abusing a Dalit woman Sub Inspector (SI) Anuradha, at Mangalagiri Town police station on Thursday. Based on the SI's complaint police registered a case under Sections 303, 506,509 R / W 34 of the Indian Penal Code ( IPC).

It may be recollected that the TDP leader along with her followers hurled abuses against SI Anuradha and her team when they were prevented from conducting a protest there, as part of the 'Chalo Atmakur' rally called for by TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. Nannapaneni Rajakumari made objectionable comments calling the SI who was on duty as, ''Dalitulu Daridrulu, Mee Valle Ee Paristhithi Pattindi", which meant that,” it was because of the Dalits, the situation was like this”.

Reports are that the Police have found Prima facie evidence in the case and are gearing up to arrest the former women Commission Chairperson any time. Nannapaneni's daughter and son-in-law are in YSR Congress and there are reports in Guntur district that Nannapaneni is trying through them to evade arrest.
