Former Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker, Kodela Sivaprasada Rao passed away the other day. He committed suicide by hanging himself the other day. Autopsy Report also confirmed the same. The final rites of Kodela will take place tomorrow in Narasaraopeta with full state honors. Meanwhile, the doubts still linger over Kodela's death.

Police could not recover Kodela's Personal mobile Phone which went missing. According to the call data, Kodela talked the last call on Sunday evening at 5 PM for about 24 minutes. Kodela's daughter, Vijaya lakshmi complained to the Police about the missing phone and a case is registered under IPC Section 174. There are doubts if the phone is missing or stolen by someone.

Kodela Sivaprasada Rao was 72 and is survived by wife, two sons, and a daughter. The new government that has come to power took Kodela to the task. It was alleged that he had diverted assembly furniture, air-conditioners and computers to his residence and to his son’s car showroom in Guntur. Cases were booked against him and family members for taking haftas and he came under severe attack over social media. TDP also disowned him by remaining silent on the cases and never tried to come to Kodela's rescue.
