Contrary to the allegations of the Telugu Desam Party, YSR Congress Sources say that there is no truth on nineteen cases registered on Former Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. The Government sources say that there are only two cases registered on Kodela and one of those is about the missing Assembly Furniture.
"Only Two cases are against Kodela and the remaining are against his son and daughter. Also, most cases are registered by Telugu Desam Cadre who were harrassed by Kodela's son and daughter in the name of K-Tax. There is no truth about the harassment of the Government which led to his Suicide," Government Sources said.
Meanwhile, the final rites of Kodela happened a little while ago in Narasaraopeta. The final yatra of the former Speaker happened for around three hours. TDP fans and the local people came in huge numbers to have a final glimpse of their beloved leader. On the other side, Telangana Police is investigating into the case after registering it as a suspicious death. Already the statements of Kodela's family members are recorded.
