Union Minister for Law and Justice, Communications and IT ravi shankar prasad has made a strange remark to prove that there is no economic slowdown when three blockbuster movies have earned more than Rs 120 crores on October 2nd. When he was asked to comment on economic slowdown during a press conference here on Saturday, the Union Minister laughed and dismissed the argument.
He said that the big hit of three Blockbuster movies — War, Joker, and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the indication of a sound economy. He asked why these three Hindi movies have earned more than Rs 120 crore when the critics were saying that there is an economic slowdown.
The Pre-Release business of the movie has arrived at 200 Crore. The movie has to collect 200 Crore Share from its theatrical run in all the languages combined. Even by liberal estimates, a loss of 50 to 60 Crore is guaranteed from here. The dussehra holiday extension due to the ongoing TSRTC Strike will help the film a bit in Telangana. It is known to our readers that Sye Raa is the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who is one of the early freedom fighters in the country.
