Now the plight of Hindu and Buddhist religious places will end in Kashmir. Modi government has taken a big initiative for this.

Under this, temples and monuments will be preserved and restored.

Srinagar. The deteriorating Hindu and Buddhist monuments of the kashmir Valley will soon be preserved.

The Modi government has done this for the first time. The National Monuments Authority (NMA) has conducted a detailed survey of Hindu and Buddhist monuments of the valley.

NMA President tarun Vijay says that terrorism has not only made a huge impact on the human life of kashmir but has also badly affected Hindu Buddhist temples and monuments.

Despite being in a wheelchair, Vijay visited Hindu and Buddhist temples and monuments at Navari, Martand temple ruins, Awantipora, Haravan Buddhist site, Parihasapura, Naranag group of temples in Pattan, and Pratap Singh Museum among other sites in Srinagar.

He said that if we do not take immediate steps to preserve these monuments, they will be destroyed and extinct.

He told that we are preparing a plan to include three major ancient sites here in UNESCO World heritage with the restoration of the Martand temple.

Many Hindu and Buddhist temples are illegally occupied here.

The ancient Vital Bhairav temple of Rainawari was burnt with jihadi slogans at the temple gate even today, but it is not listed in the state or central ASI list.  Anti-national slogans written by jihadis can still be seen at the gate of this temple.

All this requires a proper budget. He expressed hope that this would be accomplished at the state and central levels.
