Gyanvapi controversy: Places of Worship Act 1991 challenged in supreme court, Swami Jitendranand filed a petition

Gyanvapi Masjid Case: ashwini Kumar Upadhyay Completed From supreme Court

A new petition has been filed in the supreme court regarding the Gyanvapi Masjid case.  In this petition filed by Swami Jitendranand, the Places of Worship Act 1991 has been challenged.  A petition regarding this law is already filed in the supreme Court.  The supreme court is hearing it.  In this, there is a demand to demolish the dome of the mosque.

In this petition filed by senior advocate ashwini Kumar Upadhyay, the supreme court has sought to intervene in the entire matter.  It has been said in the petition that Muslims cannot claim a mosque on any other land owned by them.  It has been said in the petition that the property vested in the gods belongs to the gods, even if a person has illegally occupied it and prayers are being offered on it.

Demand for the demolition of the dome

A new application has been filed in the district court of varanasi in the Gyanvapi Masjid case. Adi Visheshwar Virajman has filed this application on his behalf. The suit asks for the mosque's dome to be demolished and for Hindus to be granted the privilege of worship. This is not the same case as the one filed by Rakhi Singh and four other women.
