IPL in great danger!?  Financial Trouble for BCCI..?

The current season has revealed that the IPL series is heading towards great absurdity. The gujarat Titans, Lucknow, and rajasthan have advanced to the playoffs so far. The bcci is set to set an unprecedented base amount. In this case, the big wedge is placed. This means that the current IPL series has not been watched by a large number of fans. The Star sports Channel dropped to 4th place in the "Park" rating from the 7th to the 13th. The top three are sun TV, Star Ma, and Star Plus. It is now reported to be down to 30% more than the regular audience. Taking into account the first 25 matches of the current series, the number of spectators between the ages of 22 and 40 is said to have dropped by 58 percent. This is a huge loss for advertisers. It seems that all the advertisers are currently asking for compensation from Star sports TV. So that channel will come directly to the BCCI. The bcci is thus forced to reduce the base amount for broadcasting rights several times over the next 5 years. CSK and mumbai teams are seen as the main reason for this decline. Both teams have a huge fan base and have been struggling from the start. Currently out of the series as well. Thus the bitter truth is that the fans are not much interested in the IPL.
