Rohit Sharma gave a stern response...

India captain rohit sharma gave a stern response about the future of one-day cricket. He feels that all three formats of the game are important. rohit sharma has done such feats in 50 overs of cricket, which no batsman in the world has been able to do. He believes that cricket is important, not the format. Earlier on Wednesday, captain Kapil Dev, who made india the world champion for the first time, said that the future of one-day cricket is in danger and the ICC should do something to save it.

To this Rohit said, "My name itself is derived from one-day cricket. It's all about the baker. people were talking like this about Test cricket earlier as well. I will never say whether ODI is about to end or t20 is coming to an end or Test is about to end. I wish there was another format because playing is the most important thing for me. Since childhood, we dreamed of playing for India. Whenever we play ODI matches, the stadiums are full, the excitement remains. It is a personal choice which format to play or not, but for me all three formats are important.

"We played last year against pakistan in Dubai, where obviously the result didn't suit us. We need to assess the conditions, keeping in mind that we will be playing in more than 40 degree temperature.
