The controversy over Namaz in gurgaon, and criticism from a part of the population, don't seem to be going away.

According to a recent media source, there was a dispute about Namaz in Sector-47 of the city, and now something similar has happened in Sector 12A's Chowk.

According to the allegation, at least 30 demonstrators, some of whom were also from Bajrang Dal, arrived during friday prayers in Sector 12A. In the presence of heavily armed security officers, protesters shouted 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai,'.

Those who complained claimed that "outsiders" were praying in an "illegal" way in the square. The demonstrators also warned the police that if friday prayers were performed in the same location, an "unfortunate incident" could occur, for which the administration would be held liable.

This location for Namaz in Sector 12 was chosen with the permission of the residents, police sources, and district administration. Following discussions with both Hindu and Muslim communities, the administration permitted prayers at 37 locations in gurgaon on May 18, 2018.

According to the police, prayers have been offered here for more than a year and there has never been a problem.

At the same time, protesters argue that the administration only allowed Namaz for one day and only on the condition that it did not cause any problems for the locals.

For the past month, there has been a similar issue in Gurgaon's Sector-47 surrounding Namaz, but prayers are now being held calmly thanks to the efforts of the police and administration, as well as the deployment of security forces.
