Is sabarimala a battleground again...?

After an aperture, sabarimala is going to become a battleground again. 

The strike was called by Hindu Aikya Vedi, Valsan Thillankeri, demanding the lifting of restrictions on rituals in the covid-19 name.

Sannidhanam and its environs are once again the scenes of a struggle after a gap of more than two years over the sabarimala women's admission issue.  Hindu Aikya Vedi alleges that the government is trying to demolish sabarimala under the guise of the Devaswom Board Sabarimala.



Activists allege that the restrictions imposed on covid-19 are against religious freedom. 



The strike is demanding the removal of all the restrictions on Pampa baptism, Neelimala climbing, and Neyyabhishekam.

The Devaswom Board had also asked the government to ease the restrictions in view of the growing number of pilgrims. But no action has been taken by the government level so far.
